This piece features a hand-carved pussuk, its letters finished in a hand-hammered gold leafed texture that catches and reflects the light. Behind the text, a carved Jerusalem scene which is covered with a pumice plaster medium, adding a rough, organic texture that contrasts beautifully with the smooth reflective gold. The artwork is set in a custom frame designed with matching hand-hammered gold inlays, tying the whole painting together.
